MY DESIGN JOURNEY

My creative journey has been shaped by a lifelong fascination with art, architecture, gardens and the natural world. I earned an undergraduate degree in Architecture and a master’s degree in Historic Preservation. These experiences continue to influence my appreciation for classical design, artisanal craftmanship and timeless design.

Living in Germany in my early adult life along with studying architecture in Rome, deepened my love for European gardens, historic landscapes and classical architecture. Those experiences continue to inspire the sketchbooks, botanical studies, paintings and surface pattern collections I create today.

Before focusing on my art practice, I worked in for an architectural firm focusing on historic preservation on Beacon Hill in Boston, Massachusetts before moving abroad and then back to the States, where I focused on floral design and managing a designer tile showroom. These disciplines taught me to see beauty in structure, color, texture and the relationship between nature and the built environment.

Today, I translate those inspirations into original artwork and surface pattern collections that celebrate botanical forms, historic places and a lasting sense of place.
